Who's behind the renders

We make buildings look real before they exist.

That's basically the whole job. We're a small crew on the water in Harbinger, and we spend our days turning your drawings into pictures people actually believe. No giant agency, no account managers — just the folks who'll touch your project, start to end.

The backstory

How a napkin sketch turned into a studio.

A pinboard with a hand sketch beside the finished photoreal render it became

Terravue started in 2019 because a friend — an architect two doors down — kept losing pitches he should've won. His drawings were gorgeous. Clients just couldn't see them. So we started rendering his projects on the side, and the yeses started rolling in.

Turns out a lot of good buildings die in the meeting room, not because they're bad, but because a floor plan asks a client to imagine too much. Our whole thing is closing that gap — handing people a picture so real they stop squinting and start nodding.

These days we work with architects and developers up and down the Outer Banks and well beyond it. Same tiny studio, same water view, same rule we started with: if we wouldn't hang it on our own wall, it's not done yet.

Our one rule, stamped on everything we send.

What we care about

Three things we won't budge on, ever.

You see it before we polish it

Every camera gets a grey-box preview first. You lock the angle, we sweat the pixels. Nobody gets ambushed by a finished render they didn't want.

The date we say is the date we mean

We'd rather tell you "that's too tight, here's what's real" than promise Friday and ghost you 'til Tuesday. Straight answers, even the ones you don't love.

Photoreal or it doesn't ship

Right light, right materials, right little imperfections. If a render still smells like a computer made it, it's not going anywhere near your pitch.

The crew

Small on purpose — you'll know everyone by name.

There's no phone tree here, no "let me loop in the team." Send a project and it lands on the same two desks it'll leave from. That's kind of the point — the person you email is the person setting the cameras.

Lighting & final renders

The one who sweats the sky

Golden hour, overcast, that specific 6pm glow off the sound — this is where the "wait, that's not a photo?" reaction gets built. Also answers most of your emails.

Modeling & walkthroughs

The one who builds the world

Takes your CAD set and makes it exist — geometry, materials, the camera moves for the flythroughs. If it's in the render, it got placed by hand here first.

Staging & the details

The one who dresses the rooms

Furniture that looks bought, not downloaded. Books slightly crooked, a throw half off the couch. The stuff that makes an empty listing feel lived-in.
